Os russos deixaram a barraca por volta das 2h30, enquanto Boyan adiou sua partida at\u00e9 as 3h45. No entanto, uma hora depois da subida, Boyan passou \u00e0 frente dos outros alpinistas. Boyan disse que continuou a escalada solo em um clima ensolarado e chegou \u00e0 base do couloir que leva ao cume por volta das 12h00, hor\u00e1rio local.
