Walltopia was honored to provide the competition walls for the Spanish Climbing Cup held on September 20–21, 2025, in Mijas, Málaga. The event featured two self-standing outdoor climbing walls.

The Speed Competition Wall introduced a new innovation: instead of traditional T-nuts, the precise positions for the standardized speed holds were laser-cut as contours into the surface. This allowed for faster, more accurate route setting and received very positive feedback from both setters and organizers.

The Bouldering Wall was the first international competition hosted on our new product line – Boulder Fundamentals. Designed as an affordable solution that does not go below the Walltopia-quality, this range offers durable plywood panels, our signature dirt-resistant coating, simplified construction, and easy installation without compromising on performance. It’s the perfect balance between accessibility and quality for gyms and competitions alike.

To complete the setup, the event was equipped with Climbmat safety mats for secure landings, along with a large selection of Walltopia plywood volumes and WTF Macros, which gave setters the tools to create exciting, varied problems for athletes across the two-day event.
