Walltopia had the honor of designing and building the competition walls for the IFSC Asian Youth Championships 2025, held in Guiyang, China. The venue features a self-standing structure engineered specifically for the event and met the EN-12572 standard for climbing walls, ensuring world-class performance and safety for all athletes.
The setup featured all three competition climbing disciplines:
- Bouldering walls – 336 sqm of comp-designed climbing terrain
 - Speed walls – 402 sqm, built to official IFSC standards
 - Lead climbing walls – 274 sqm, designed for technical and endurance-focused climbs

The wall design of the client’s choice featured color palette of white, lagoon blue, and flamingo pink, giving the venue a distinct visual identity. To support athlete safety and comfort, the competition area was fully equipped with Climbmat BM 400 hard-edge safety mats for bouldering and Climbmat RM100 modular flooring for the rope climbing walls.
This project reflects our dedication to delivering competition-ready climbing infrastructure — combining precision engineering, athlete-focused design, and a seamless event experience. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a world-class competition as the IFSC Asian Youth Championships and support the athletes pushing their limits on Walltopia walls.
