Jerudong International School will feature 60 sqm rope climbing Walltopia wall, marking our first project in Brunei and an exciting milestone in expanding access to climbing across Southeast Asia.
Designed specifically for a school environment, the installation features five auto belay climbing lines, allowing students to climb independently in a safe and controlled setting. The wall provides an engaging way to stay active while developing valuable physical and mental skills.
Climbing is increasingly recognized as a powerful educational tool, helping young people improve strength, balance, coordination, agility, and spatial awareness. At the same time, it encourages problem-solving, perseverance, confidence, and resilience—skills that extend well beyond the climbing wall. The use of auto belays makes the activity accessible to a wider range of students while maximizing participation during physical education classes and extracurricular programs.
The project features Climbmat RM100 XPE Modular safety flooring.
By integrating climbing into its sports and activity offering, Jerudong International School has added a versatile and inclusive activity that supports student development while making physical education more engaging and enjoyable. We are proud to bring our first climbing project to Brunei and to contribute to creating new opportunities for young people to discover the benefits of climbing.
