Walltopia continues its longstanding partnership with Sputnik Climbing, a majorclimbing gym operator in Spain, with the delivery of Sputnik Guindalera in Madrid. We’re honored to be the chosen supplier for years of collaboration and share the commitment to develop the climbing scene in Spain.
The project features 931 sqm of climbing surface, comprising 546 sqm of rope climbing walls and 385 sqm of bouldering terrain. Light and dark natural wood finishes give the gym a warm, contemporary appearance, while varied wall geometries provide opportunities for creative route setting and progression. Auto belays make rope climbing accessible for independent sessions, and a Quantum Board XL adds a dedicated training option.
The facility is equipped with Climbmat safety flooring, including RM150 mats with rebonded foam and carpet finish beneath the rope walls, and BM400 and BM300 Hard Edge mats with a continuous carpet top in the bouldering areas.
Beyond the climbing infrastructure, Sputnik Guindalera offers fitness, family activities, cantina and social spaces, continuing the operator’s focus on building communities around climbing.
Our partnership with Sputnik Climbing has grown alongside their network over the years, from earlier facilities such as Las Rozas and Legazpi to Chamberí and now Guindalera. We’re grateful for their continued trust in Walltopia and proud to contribute to their vision of making climbing accessible to more people across Spain.
