Blocworks Midtown – Where Climbing and Community Go Hand in Hand

Walltopia was honored to deliver the second gym for the Oklahoma-based gym chain. Blocworks Midtown is a carefully designed bouldering space built in Oklahoma city with purpose, passion, and people in mind.

This small-format gym delivers 1,900 square feet (approx. 177 sqm) of climbing surface, featuring a range of wall angles from slab to overhang. The layout is intentionally simple yet strategic, making the most of the space while giving setters room to create memorable movement. The design process was deeply collaborative, led by Blocworks’ own routesetters and Walltopia’s sales and design team, to ensure an experience that welcomes beginners and challenges seasoned climbers alike. From wall shape to check-in culture, every element was designed to foster connection, play, and excellence – the core of the Blocworks identity.
