Completed in 2025, this 205 sqm competition bouldering extension expands the existing Helsingin Kiipeilykeskus climbing gym, giving the community an exciting new space dedicated to modern competition-style climbing.

The extension is positioned on a terrace with a flexible enclosure that adapts to the seasons. During the summer, the roof and walls can be opened, creating the feeling of an outdoor bouldering wall. In winter and during bad weather, the enclosure is closed, allowing the facility to operate comfortably year-round while maintaining the atmosphere of climbing in an open space.

The new competition wall provides additional capacity for everyday climbing, training, and events. The extension seamlessly integrates with the existing gym, enhancing its offering while creating a distinctive climbing experience that changes with the seasons.
